I thought that might get you to look.
From left to right or top to bottom, depending on the pic:
Nicholson 46, 49, 50 and 55.
The 49 and 50, I bought a few years ago on sale. The 46 and 55 are a couple I just got from Walt. They're in great shape. I seem to remember reading somewhere that the 55 is about 25 tpi.
I thought some of you might be interested in seeing the relative tooth sizes. The 46 and 55 also seem to have sharper teeth. I also remember reading somewhere that Nicholson made last makers cabinet rasps that numbered from 1 - 10. I've never seen any.232878232879232880
I was going to put them to some wood and share pics, but I have been told I need to cut the dog nails. So that will have to wait. Ironically, I use a cheap import 4 in hand to get rid of the sharp edges ever since SWMBO got nicked by an overly exuberant lab shortly after a nail cutting session with dad.
When are labs not overly exuberant? While they're sleeping, duh.
