My lovely wife and I are spending a week in French Canada. We are currently in Quebec city and while strolling the quaint streets if Old Quebec City, I saw a gorgeous rocker in a window. It turned out to be a "Dugal" studio. We went in so that I could check out the rocker. This one is made of cherry and walnut. Beatifully crafted, it sells for $6,000. That represents the starting price for his rockers, as they go up to as much as $15,000 (dependant upon wood choices, etc). I was not permitted to photograph, so I can't post a pic for others to enjoy, but I was wondering if anyone is familiar with him or his work.

I found this via Google, is this what the rocker looked like?
