First lidded box

Well here is my first lidded box, it is walnut and buffed with bees wax, its about 4" tall. The stem is to thick, but over all im pretty happy. Your thoughts appreciated.

Steve, a more straight on pic might do better, but from what I see, it looks like you did well! The walnut even appears to have some nice figure in the top.

I would say you did well on your first. I agree different shots at different angles would let us see it better. Nice walnut.

Steve, for a first lidded box I applaud your effort! Every one you make will get easier and better than it's predecessor.
