Thanks guys. Finished with black, red and yellow water based aniline dyes and wipe-on poly.

Fantastic piece, Joe! I love the form and the coloring is over the top! I'm not usually a fan of high gloss but yours looks flawless and seems to work well.

Joe this is a wonderful piece! I love the shape and the dye job is spectacular! Really well done, and a beautiful finish to boot! I've been fighting with my first dyed piece of maple for the last two days. It's getting the clear coat on it now. I have a new respect for you folks who dye your pieces, it can be quite a process. One purple thumb later...

This is a beautiful piece! I cant see you in the reflection but I can see your light "tent". I am amazed at the depth, color, & reflection that you have acheived here.
