OK, so, I’ve recently acquired a couple of planes to fill in some holes in the stable (http://www.sawmillcreek.org/showthread.php?186403-Look-what-followed-me-home!&highlight=). I’ve heard how handy a #6 is – Chris Gochnour uses it for shooting, and pretty much like a jack plane. Chris Schwartz thinks they’re great too. I’ve also just won an auction for another Bedrock, a 605. My fascination with Bedrocks has grown over the past few years, and if you’re going to have one, you’ll most likely get another or three…..

So, now I’m thinking…a) is there much overlap in having a 606 and a 605? ; b) should I sell off my smooth as silk Miller Falls 14? ; c) go ahead and get a LA jack (either LV, or LN), test them all side by side, and keep the best of the lot. ; d) replace them all with a LA jack, and multiple blades.

And no, I really don’t have an opinion at this point, but I know there is no shortage of opinions in the Creek!
