A guy i did some work for a while back,stopped by the house yesterday. I had asked him if he ever found any burls to let me know. He is the head saw man at a saw mill. Well when he pulled in wasn't sure who it was, but was sure glad to see what he had in the back of his truck. I hadn't said how i would like any burls that he might find. But i guess he thought he'd do me a favorite by cutting them up in 2 to 3 inch slabs. O they'll make some nice platters.well every thing in these pics have at least some burl. Steve, lots of possibilities there!! Very nice haul. That platter is going to really be something with the finish on it. I take it these are all green?

An official You Suck!!! There is no doubt in my mind that those are going to be art in no time! In fact...I have some white marble slabs....

John yes these are all green. Can't what till this is dry so i can get it finished.:( you can bet i'll let ya see it when finished.

Steve that is a nice haul. I can see a few possibilities. Platter should be really nice with finish applied.
