They run so quietly and smoothly that if you're listening to music, you may forget you left it running, until you turn around to resharpen your skew. That was a little startling.



Finally! Finally, I get some shop time. Have 5 pen orders. Finally got one made. Sheesh.

Have did that more than once Gary. Good for you getting some shop time. I told my wife we weren't traveling as much so I could get some shop time.:DWe'll see how far that goes.

I love listening to my Baldor grinder purr - when I put my ear down close enough to hear it! :D

I lucked into two used but excellent condition Baldor grinders. A 7" pedestal grinder about 5 years ago and an 8" I use for my turning tools last year. Both slow speed. Both all CI. With my Generals, I've got 6 Baldors in the shop. Fantastic motors.
