What I am looking for is someone that can tell me where to get about a 3' strip of white LED lights weather proof I need them to use as reverse lights on my 55. I know it is not laser related but who better then you guys to ask?:D

Sign supply companies. We use them on jobs from time to time. They use them for lighting letters that go on buildings, etc. They replace the conventional bulbs that have been used for a long time. They work really well and are fine with weather issues.

39" white bulbs at bottom of site. unless you want the leds that look like a circuit board.
I assume your 55 is a 12v neg ground and not a 6v positive ground.

I buy this sort of thing from eBay suppliers. Try item# 280862637004, it looks like he has what you need. The waterproof LEDs have a thick silicone coating and an adhesive back.
