This craigslist was listed for 100 bucks, the motor would only hum when you tried to start it
75 bucks of parts;
New motor bearings, capacitor, sand blast, paint, and new table
Lots of adjustments but she is sweet now, and accurate

You suck......

Now tell us the truth, is that the same machine.....

Great looking job and a good price, $175 and some work and now you have an awesome looking saw.

Great job, love old iron. My GWI just keeps on doing a great job, your chop saw is going to miss you. Tom

My chop saw will still do miters
I plan only using the GP for 90 degrees only

Beauty. I'm loving that. I have a 49 GR in my shop, and your before pictures look better than my after saw! I have no patience for refurbs and great respect for those who do. Great saws. Fine work bringing yours back to both function and beauty!

Congrats! She's a beauty. It's heartwarming to see another of these fine, old machines come back to life.
