Taper Cleaning

I'm curious what everybody uses to clean the inside of your tapers in your head and tail stock. Does anybody use the "Green Weenie" and is it any good?

I use the green weenie, and find that it works well.

I use a shotgun cleaning kit.

I also use the green taper cleaner. Works well.

If you don't clean it, thereby galling it, or you gall it up by turning large bowls or hollow forms, then you'll need to buy a taper reamer, and hope you can salvage the spindle...
