I recently bought this printer and, so far, have printed relatively little. It was surprising then when the toner light came on and printing was disabled. The last page I printed though was still very good in quality.

After a bit of internet research I discovered that by pressing the GO button 7 times in rapid succession one can continue to print in toner continuation mode. Maybe this information will be useful for someone.

I think it should be a law that printers that inform you of toner level allow you to continue printing without having to press any secret button combinations, or placing tape over any windows on toner cartridges. My Brother laser printer stopped printing one night and still had at least 1/4 cup of toner in it. They keep coming up with crazier and crazier ways to prevent the printer from working once they have told you the toner is low.

If I'm elected king, I promise to:

(1) Stop the toner low racket.

(2) Improve the timing of street lights.

(3) Send Seal Team 6 after people writing viruses.
