Here is a curly ash bowl I cut the blank from a crotch piece, dried using Dave Smiths alky method. Finish is Watco and buffed on the Beall.
its 9"x 2 1/2" Im working on my photo skills, and this is not a good job of it:o the bowl looks much better in person.

Good job. I especially like the way you have done the rim. I like them nearly flat and canted away from the inside.

Jim, you know what to do with a nice piece of ash. :D Very few people seem to be able to handle ash properly and you always do. Keep up the good work. The bowl is beautiful!!! :D

Jim you really have a nice piece of ash there. :D That new lathe agrees with you and you are doing wonderful things with it.
