I just happened across these spokeshaves. Curious of anyone has tried them.
They remind me a bit of the Boggs spokeshave, but steel instead of brass and down-turned handles.

I haven't, but I'll be following this thread to see what people think. That they scored a testimonial from Scott Phillips says something for the quality.

I wonder what the idea behind the droopy handles is. They'd get in the way for some furniture-making work. I note the manufacturer is emphasizing long, thin work like bows and paddles, where they'd be no problem.

Do they say made in America anywhere?

Clicking a couple of links from the first page, I just realized this is a fellow that makes longbows, so I imagine they're designed a bit with that in mind.

The shaves all seem to be slightly tilted forward in the photos, so I wonder the slight "droop" Bill mentions becomes more of a forward cant when the shave's soles are bearing on the work surface?
