Well....no shop time this weekend. Had to travel to Oklahoma City for my oldest sons choir competition. Add 800 more miles to my past 4 week driving experiences. I need a break!!!!

I finally finished the wall cabinet I was making. It needs two doors, I ended up making 6. Guess I'll need to make two more cabinets slightly larger....

It turned out pretty well. I think they are going to like it. It will get delivered next weekend.

Killed a lot of time on Sunday cleaning out some porn from a computer at my mother's my nephew got it contaminated (see my post on the support forum)

I was able to complete part of my to do list, this past weekend I was able to complete rough-turning a cherry bowl, cut and seal some more blanks, and mow. I also built a mobile base for my CMS.

Went camping at Deer Creek State park this weekend. Got rained on & finally got a campfire going a bit. Stupid thing wouldn't burn till it started raining harder & as soon as we went to the trailer it started burning GOOD! Took the boys on a 5mi. hike and they played with their cousins Saturday. Had these things crawling on me, thought they were spiders. 8 legs and all. Brushed them off, no big deal. Sun. I found one on my shoulder and it wouldn't swipe off. MAN that thing was stuck tight!! Pulled it off & took it to work today to find out what it was. Never seen a tick before, thought they were real small. Good thing I found it before it burrowed in! Checked & none on the boys or SWMBO. What a weekend!!

Hi all - spend the entire weekend outside in the garden. planted 7 flats of flowers, got the vegtable garden planted, cleaned the a/c unit, and made a new 3x16 flower bed for the LOML. No shop time at all...but there's always this week

Have a great week.

Collected a much needed check. Bid another job, that shot the rest of the day. Was planning on cutting some brush for more pasture area for the hay burners and planting Okra in the garden. Nobody else here eats it or will plant it so I have to so I can have it fresh. But was very dark when I got home, so no garden time. Steve:rolleyes:

After spending more hours finish sanding than I want to admit too, I managed to screw up 2 lovely birds-eye maple panels. I had planed to sand in a light coat of natural Danish oil with 400 grit paper and varnish. Instead, at the last minute, I added a little tint “for warmth”. I’ll be re-sanding my orange panels NEXT weekend.

Unfortunately, a non-woodworking weekend for me, too. Tractor maintenance, the first mow of the season and the finish painting on the metal patio furniture that belonged to my grandmother many years ago...looks peachy in lavender! :D

Back in the shop next weeked...I hope...
