Power Tool belt questions

I am rebuilding a metal band saw that has two belts. I measured them with a string and came up with the following dimensions:

Short Belt 1/2" x 30.25" long measured on the inside of the belt.
Short Belt 1/2" x 32.75" long measured on the outside of the belt.

Long Belt 1/2" x 48.25" long measured on the inside of the belt.
Long Belt 1/2" x 51" long measured on the outside of the belt.

Which belt length does one use, the inside or outside?
Does anyone know where to purchase Gates Green Stripe belts?

Any other information you have is appreciated.

Measure top width and length. Go to www.mcmaster.com for belt choices and more technical info. Great company...100 years in business and never advertises...that says a lot.
Cogged belts are better on small diameter pulleys.

If you have a NAPA Auto Parts store near you, I think they sell Gates. Motion Industries distributes Gates and I think they own NAPA. Take the belt with you if you can, sometimes there is a part number on the belt unless it has worn off.
