Beautiful piece Joe. The yin-yang look in the first pic is pretty cool too. Nice soft finish that I like.

Joe, it would be difficult to replicate that with dye!!! As always, great work!

Joe,
I like the form, and the wood has a nice contrast with the sapwood. Well done

Very nice Joe! I like the overall shape and I especially like the grain pattern. It reminds me of ocean waves crashing on the beach. I could stare at this piece for a long time!

Joe,
Rosewood is one of my favorites - especially when you get some of that sapwood in it. Classic form well done.

Joe, when ever I see a thread is by you, I know I'm in for something special. Once again this is no exception, a beautiful form and excellent selection of wood. Well done my friend.

Joe, it's gorgeous! Beautiful work, not sure there is anyway to improve the look of the rosewood, and the finish compliments it perfectly

Very pretty Joe. The curve of the sapwood sets this one above the norm IMO.

Joe, "Rosie" is a sweet piece! Rosewood is my all time favorite wood and I especially like the stark contrast between the heart and sap wood. You have made great use of it here. Sometimes the separation is "highlighted" by a black line which adds even more interest.

What wood do you mean when you say rosewood?

Thanks for all the kind remarks.
The wood was a gift from John Jordan when he was a guest at my house. He said it was Rosewood from Florida.
