With the expected arrival of the female version of my mini-me in about three more weeks, I was granted one final tool purchase before the delivery date.... So, After some thought and consideration, I went ahead and went with this tool. Every one speaks so highly of this tool, and the toothed blade really peaked my interest. I already have the low angle smoother, so now I can hone one blade to a high angle, keep one set close to the factory 25 degree, and have the toothed blade to further extend the versatility of these tools. I can't wait to put this to work on some very curly maple panels I have glued up in the shop right now....

Now all you need is to make a hot dog for use on a shooting board. The reason mine was bought was mostly for shooting board work. It does get used in other places, but beats most other planes for shooting.

I love mine and use it all the time. I only wish I could have kept the handles that purty for longer. Enjoy it!
