This is an upgrade from my last mortising jig. It's from a plan in Workbench Magazine. Haven't used it yet, but I'm sure it will be much easier and more versitile than my previous one. The fence can be positioned horizontal or verticle to allow for end mortising. The carriage and stop blocks all slide in a T-Track.

Nice job on the jig. I've just been using a good edge guide and ganging multiples togeter for router support but I've been thinking of making a dedicated jig for a while. Do you know if the plans are online anywhere? Or is it something you could scan?

Sorry Doug, but I can't do the scan and as far as I know it is not online. The best thing I can suggest is to just pick up a copy of the April 2005 issue of Workbench Magazine. Have a great day.

Thanks. I guess I just assumed it was from a past issue and I hate buying backissues. They're usually more $$ than their normal prices.
