It does not have to be the cheapest as this gets a huge amount of use on my cnc router. I need wire for grounding and I need clear to check for plugs. I need about 8 feet so 5' lenghts won't work. anything between cheap and mcmasters 20.00 a foot that is pretty bullet proof?

$6/ft for 6" hose from Oneida. I have the 5" and it seems pretty tough. You'll need to get 10'

I need some that won't stain. I have had this that I used with padouk and it stained it. I have worn so many holes in this hose. I had some on my cyclone and it had holes worn in it.

Don't know what to tell you Steve. All hose will stain if you have oily colorful woods. And eventually all hose will end up with holes. The Oneida hose seems pretty tough. All I can tell you.

Lucky I don't cut padouk much anymore.

I bought mine through Wynn environmental. I think 10' was about $50.

We use this type hose in a severe duty application with decent life span.

I've purchased clear hose with the wire from three different companies: Onieda, Woodcraft and KenCraft Company. I've been very pleased with all with no problems.

I bought mine through Wynn environmental. I think 10' was about $50.

That's where I get mine too. They also carry the best clamps for spiral hose.

Steve,

Call Wynn environmental and tell them you want clear urethane hose. I won't use anything else on my CNC Router anymore.

I agree. I bought some of their clamps as well. The way they overlap the spiral tube is really cool and makes for a better seal.

Wynn Environmental is where I purchased my 6" flex hose too.

I also need a good way to fasten the hose to the 6" pipe. it is not ridged enough to use a hose clamp I usually add a couple of screws then use duct tape.
