Here is an interesting brace that my wife picked up yesterday at a yard sale. Can anyone tell me anything about it? Is it a keeper? I can't see any markings on it. She also found some Goodall Pratt drill presses I don't really need.
Thanks,
Allen

I'm going to take an educated guess and say it's a Taylor patent brace made by H.O. White in h]Hebron, CT. See Sandy's site here: http://www.sydnassloot.com/Brace/Taylorb.htm for details. It's missing the screw that holds the bit in place, so you'll want to replace that if you want to use the brace. It doesn't have much value as a collectable, but it should be a perfectly functional brace once you replace the screw.

Hope this helps,
Josh

Thanks for the link. Sandy's site has a lot of information. I don't know how much use this one will get but it is simple to use. She got this one with three other ratcheting braces so I am loaded with braces.
