This one is a collaboration with my better half. Again its over 200 Cu.In..
Boxelder, Walnut lid. Have not decided if it should get a finial or not. One advantage of using the same size inserts is that I can mix and match lids at a later time if needed. I appologise for the horrible photo.

That is a gorgeous piece of work.......if your wife does the artwork........she is very good, and the turning is also excellent! Nice stuff there, Ian!

Jeff, I'm not at home, but as I recall this piece is approx 11in tall.
Roger,.. yes Lanie can make a plain piece of wood come to life for sure. I panic when she hands them back to me to apply finish. I once ruined a piece the day before a show, when the finish reacted to the water color that she uses. She spends far more time on them than I do making them.

Beautiful urn Ian! The painting and texturing are fantastic. My 1st thought on seeing it was that it would look really nice if the lid was painted or dyed to match the color of the trout's back, but it's still beautiful as it is.

I really like the artwork/texture on this! I have to agree with Kathy on this one. I think it would look better if the lid matched the trout in some way or have the lid match the urn. JMO.

Well, you both do very nice work, but for sure, Ms. Jeffcock is a wonderful addition to this team!! Awesome artwork.

Another nice one. A great shape and palette for Lanie's art. Reminds me to get out of the shop and do some fly fishing before I'm in one of those.

Makes me want to go fishing. Your wife is a super artist, she could make my work look good.
