Mike, while you did an excellent job on this one - tight joints and all - I have to admit that I get dizzy looking at segmented pieces with wild grain patterns!! Zebra wood usually doesn't seem to add to a segmented piece, but that is simply my opinion, and one probably not shared by others.

`Nice job on the joinery....tight seems like that are hard to accomplish in Maple. I am not to fond of the design though. I think turnings look best when the golden ratio is more closely adhered to.

Really nice tight joints. I agree and am not a fan of the design. I do like the wood combo.
