This was one of my entries in this years Easter Show woodart competition.
A Kauri HF on a corian peg held with 2 x copper rose head nails & additional shoulder supports. Stands 8" o/all.
Managed a third placing & it sold as well
Any comments welcome

I love the form and how you tied the two materials together. Usually you only see corian used for pens but this is something new. Excellent job!

Beautifully executed, l really like the suspension on this piece, just works very nicely. The clean lines of the vessel makes the suspension an eye catcher in its own right. Kind of a twist on the suspension/stand being something we don't want to overly focus on. I think here...it's the main focus and it works.
