For those near enough to eastern Massachusetts, the annual Rikon scratch-and-dent sale is this weekend, Friday and Saturday, April 13 and 14, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., at their warehouse, 16 Progress Road, Billerica, MA. Last year a lot of people were there, so for best selection, get there early. There will be some new stuff in addition to returned items. I got my deluxe 14" bandsaw at one of their sales a few years ago for $500 when the regular price was $800. It was all assembled and tuned up, with no damage at all. The ones with slighted dented bases were $450. A couple years later I got a midi-lathe and base for half the regular price, also assembled and in perfect condition. It's only use had been for photographs for an advertisement.
