Need Source of Supply for Alum

Looking for a source for 8-10 sheets of 12"' x 24" .o5o Black anodized Aluminum. Just got a quote for $85.00 a sheet. WOW.

Last time I bought this material it was $45.00 a sheet and that was only 1 1/2 years ago. Thanks

You can't be talking $85 for a sheet 12x24, you are talking that price for a 4x8 sheet right?

I wish I was........ 12" x 24" breaks down to $70 a sheet with $50 in shipping for 6 sheets

Does it have to be .05? Johnson Plastics has .04 for about $15 a sheet.

Ya need .050........ May have just found some in Canada........ for $15 a sheet .... All the mills are on the east coast..... and in WA none of the metal distributors carry anodized alum.....

You may check with these guys (I haven't purchased from them)
A 4x10' sheet of clear is about $125.00 (20 sheets 12x24 if my math is correct)
They do say they do black worth a shot.

Good luck with the aa place you mentioned in Canada. I found them about a year ago and needed some specific things they had. They listed them on their site for something like $42 per sheet (4' x 8' sheets of something I was needing). I called, he said they had them, I said "I'll take 10 sheets" and he said "That's be $1,050 plus shipping".

Huh? How'd we get from $42 per sheet, listed on your website to $105 per sheet?

Needless to say I didn't order anything from them.

I also asked if they had any swatches or samples I could purchase because I needed to make sure the color/grain pattern matched what I was looking for. I was told only way to do that was for us to purchase an entire sheet and have him cut it for us.

So I can't see it before I buy it, the price you listed isn't what you sell it for............thanks for your time.....
