Good morning all, I have a 10% off to use before the end of April, I have been looking at the G0733 lathe from grizzly an up grade from my 20 year old craftsman lathe. I have a few other Grizzly's in the shop and love there service before and after the sale. Just wanted to here some reviews from other members that own the G0733, good or bad. thanks for your time

I own the unit prior to the G0733......the G0698 18/47 .......the G0733 is an upgraded version of the G0698 and is a fine lathe with great features for the money. If you have questions that I can answer, please send me a private message and I will help any way I can. I have had my G0698 for over two years without one single problem and it has been a superb performer for me.

Rich, I don't know where in Colorado you are, but if you want to check mine out, I'm in the Black Forest near Colorado Springs. Mine is the GO698 predecessor, like Roger's. As far as I know, they changed the motor and maybe the inverter or frequency drive and painted it white instead of green. Send me a PM and I'll scoop away some shavings to make a path.

I don't mean to hijack but I'm also looking at this lathe and was wondering if anyone had one near me in NC that I could visit? Also, where do you find 10% off coupons? I have a 5% on the back of my catalog but 10% sounds even better!:)

The 10% off was on the cover of my wood workers journal mag. It was only on subscription not in the stores, Grizzly does this about every spring
