Here is another Buckeye Burl piece that I turned back in January, 2012. This piece is 22" in diameter and 26.5" tall. It's about 1 1/2" thick and is mounted on a steel post with a steel base. I want to thank Douglas Fisher for the inspiration he has given me. This is my first attempt at an offcenter sculpture. Your comments and critique would be greatly appreciated. Also, as you can see, my photography is not very good. I know I need to set up the lights and the background but rarely make the time. Work sure does get in the way of wood turning...lol

TIA, Ken

Fisher does some really neat work, and you have obviously learned well! Awesome piece of wood and a very interesting piece.

That's insane. I'm amazed and stunned. And impressed.

Amazing piece - hard to imagine the "pucker factor" that goes into turning a chunk like that! Well done!
