Here are some items I am donating to the Brillion Nature Center's fund raising event next Saturday. The bowls are made of cherry, mulberry and maple (6" X 2"), comments are welcome.

Happy Easter to all,

Paul

Some nice work, Paul! That cherry bowl is very nice, as is the maple, but the character of the wood in the mulberry goes great with the rimmed form you used - very functional looking. Cute votive holders, too. Hope they do well for the fundraiser.

Very nice. I like the mulberry. Does mulberry grow in your area? I need to try some.

Rich,

I really don't know if they grow in central Wisconsin...I purchaced this from "Got Wood" online out of South Carolina. Thanks for all the compliments.

Steve,

I live in Brillion which is 20 miles south of Green Bay. I heard you are just to the north in the UP where all the good wood is! This is a real nice forum and I look forward to reading the threads every day. I just read that mulberry trees grow mainly in the eastern states.

Here are the last 2 items donated to our nature center benefit Saturday night...they are made from mulberry. My wife made the doily under them. I think her doilys complement the turnings.
