But a lot of color is better! I've had a focus on color the last few weeks. All forms were airbrushed and top coated with either lacquer or Krylon Acrylic. A couple received a base coat of dye or stain and then sanded back. The tallest is 9"+ and I went about as deep as I would want to go with the Monster.

I used a variety of wood: cherry (x2), silver maple (x2), pecan and bradford pear. The bradford pear was so bland I went with a solid color on it. Maybe I'll have an Easter form hunt...

C & C's welcomed. Have a happy Easter!

Very nice variety of forms and color! I also agree with Dave - the solid red form in the front is amazing!!

Bill, the color is awesome, but the real story here is the excellent form on each and every one of these!! Really some great work. Personally, I like the color of the one on the far right - looks to be a fade. Sweet stuff!!

All of them are very nice! But I'm with David, Steve and Steve, the red one in front is exceptional, one of my favorite forms and the coloring and finish are awesome (just a notch above the awesomeness of the others).

I'm continually drawn to the green and purple ones Bill...I could learn a lot from your finishing techniques!

Great variety of colors and shapes, Bill. I really like the hollow form on the right. It's girth is all on the bottom but it still had great lift.

Thank you all very much. I'm must admit I'm surprised how well they all were accepted. I may have to continue this path a little longer.

Ahhhhh.... the spring flowers are out. Very nice since I woke up to 2 inches of snow this morning. I really like all of these; form and finish. The color is very nice. +1 on the red one, it caught my eye first, but they are all excellent. Maybe you could do a tutorial on the color process, hint hint.
