Just made the Final Four in Choice Woods March Madness National Woodturning Championship. Am representing the "Bowl Gouge Region" which I assume is the Southeast with a piece posted originally on Sawmill Creek "Translucent Norfolk Island pine." The vote for each of the four regional champs goes on this week and is on Facebook. (It's not easy to figure out how to vote.) There are some other Creekers in the contest and some very good work has been displayed.

That is going to be one tough entry to beat. Absolutley georgous. my next question is, how does one get entered in this contest next time around?

Bill,
Don't know of any notification that goes out other than the Choice Woods newsletter which I think is monthly. Choice Woods is a vendor of turning wood and supplies out of Louisville. The contest runs in conjunction with basketball's March Madness and is organized as an elimination event. It's very obvious that some turning club's support the contest and get behind their member's pieces.
