How could you not get the Wireless Trigger-Finger Tote? :D

If I had Festool I would be all over this...

These guys are brilliant!

They should have got Rob Cosman to do the video. (I like his work and not to be construed as a slam on him)

Thank you for pointing this out, Greg. Up until now I had resisted buying the Veritas dust collector and overarm thingie. Some things are just so new and innovative that it is worth going into massive debt over.

"If Rob Lee offers it, I have to buy it!"

I just checked amazon. The vacuum and boom arm are available for $965 with Free Shipping!

I absolutely need one of these! I was finding that hand-planing was getting to be just a bit too quiet and restful for me..

Perfect for the Discerning Gentleman Woodworker or to help the power tool user trying to transition to Neander woodworking.

just need the Schwarz to blog about it.
I would actually buy one of the story tapes to pull jokes on new guys at work.

Brilliant. Now, you can have all the noise of a power tool without the danger of those fast-moving sharp parts.

Great idea but I'm holding out for the hand-cranked vacuum. And an assistant to crank it. Maybe next April 1.

My favorite part:

"Slump-formed using geothermal steam, the sustainably produced shroud is carefully crafted from select recycled composite material chosen for its clarity, and durability."

My hat's off to y'all for your cleverness and originality! Now I need to go searching for that story tape....

I would laugh freely if I did not also know that there are those out there that would actually buy this rig.

I have visions of an internal contest among employees to present their versions of the perfect 4/1 pseudo tools. Bet the presentation meetings are a hoot, if they actually happen, of course.

Sweet. As soon as they come out with one that attaches to chisels, I can proceed with installing carpet in my workshop.

I want one that attaches to my brace.
