I have read here that the Dewalt router attachment can be used on the Festool track, but does anyone have any actual experience with it?

I like the routers I have (PC) - no plans on purchasing Festool routers.

I am positive the dewalt tracksaw works on the festool rail. Here is the router attachment on the dewalt rail as well. I did not have the dewalt router attachment when I reviewed the ts55 and dewalt tracksaws though. Should work but you will figure out the correct spacing for the rail.

I have the router attachment on the festool tracks. I did have to put uhmw tape in the attachment sliding area to snug it up.

Thanks guys.

I presumed it would because I knew the Dewalt track saw worked on the Festool track. I just was not sure if the rods on the attachment were long enough because of the offset of the Festool track.

I just placed the order.

You can use it on the short side of the festool track for sure.

Mike, I probably would have eventually figured that out once I tried to use it. Thanks, though, for saving me the time.

Looking at the pictures I should be able to measure for sure if it will work on the other side as the saw has the exact placement of the festool rail guide in its shoe. I will check it out tonight.
