Got an order the other day for an Ebony (slim, no sculpturing) SlimLine. This is the result. Been awhile since I have done a black pen. Finish is very hard to get right to avoid micro scratches and the like.

It is a premium SlimLine. Woodcraft calls it Woodcraft Gold which I believe is what other vendors refer to as Titanium Gold. The kit is about 3 times the price of "good" gold kits but I charged the customer a reasonable premium for it. It also has a premium refill. Wood is Ebony, finish is about 12 coats of medium CA polished to 12000 MM then a light coat of Ren wax for feel.

Super elegant JD! There is nothing easy about turning a slim...that 7mm bushing is awful tiny sometimes!

I'm glad I'm not the only one that has problems getting those little scratches out of dark wood!

Nice looking pen!

Very well done. Ebony wood is one of the nicest woods for pens one could turn. Tricky to get right, but one of the best when you are successful and yours looks great. Carl

Very clean! Black is elegant on just about anything, and this pen is no different.
