Any Earlex 5000 owners out there that have sprayed the EM6000 ? Planning on doing this soon, have never used the 5000 for WB coating and was wondering about the Do's n Dont's. Appreciate anyones in put.

i've had good results with the 1.5 tip. do strain/filter when filling your cup. i did not need to thin it. practice on something other than your project.
do use a wet mil gauge to get a idea of what the proper wet coat should look like.

I have/am doing this very thing on a kitchen project right now with no problems whatsoever. Definately do not need to thin, use the 1.5 tip and as David said be sure to strain/filter when filling your cup.. With the short times between coats I just press a small piece of painters tape on the tip when I am done spraying so it does not clog. 1/2 hour later, after a quick sanding with 320, pop the tape and spray away..
