Master Bedroom Lamp

SWMBO wanted a new lamp for the bedroom. We were not able to really find anything different at the stores so I decided to make my own.

It is about 30" x 30" and made from poplar and 3/8 ply. Painted white with Valspar metals paint on the inside.

She is happy with the results, so I am happy as well LOL :)

Nice job, Scott. I had the same situation a number of years ago for a lamp to go over our kitchen dining table...nothing "available out there" floated my boat, so I made one to match the table. Certainly an interesting project! Yours turned out great!
