Mods, please move this if needed...

I know Doug frequented the Creek for a very long time so when I received this email, I was a bit shocked.. For those that knew him...

FYI...This is Doug's sister Nancy. I hijacked his e-mail to send a msg to those in his contact list. Doug passed away from cancer early this morning at 2:30 a.m. Obituary will be in the Oakland Press and services will be held at Riverside Chapel in Waterford, MI.

If any of you know him from the Troy All Dogs Group, please let me know as I've been trying to post a notice on there and you could probably help me out.
Thanks.

Doug was a very active poster from his count number. Also, he was on the board as recently as a few days ago. I hope the board help fill some space while he was fighting his disease. My condolences to his family and friends. God Bless.

Man, this hurts. Doug & I conversed several times over the years and I knew he had some serious back problems but I never knew about the cancer.
Rest in Peace Doug. God Speed.

I didn't know Doug, but I grew up in Waterford so this post caught my attention. So sad. In the last 3 months 3 of my ex partners lost their wives to cancer, the last one was buried Monday. One of the funerals, in January, was at the Riverside Chapel. Is there a worse word than cancer? May Doug be remembered by all. And may the family remember the good times. Rest in peace.

Doug will definitely be missed. My condolences to his family. I had no idea he was having health issues. I guess that was the way he wanted to leave us.

Doug was nice enough to email me some plans for a cabinet I plan to build in the near future.
