I just received news that I have been commissioned to make all the awards for the REMC Specialty dog show. It is a pretty big show and the commission is for 12 pieces in total . I have a lot of work to do between now and October. With this I am one step closer to getting my American Beauty!!!

Congrats though it sounds like a lot of work! Had to google REMC. Are you doing all different breeds on the plates?

That's gonna be fun Jeff! I have a good friend, used to be one of our hospital supervisors, that enters that every year. Beautiful dogs and I hear a fun show.

Thanks Guys.

Baxter, the Redwood Empire Mastiff Club (REMC) holds a specialty every year. I am doing the awards for them, so it is just Mastiffs.

Jeff - Congrats on the commission! Should be a lot of work but I look forward to seeing the end results!

I wish you luck in getting your American Beauty... just on my personal opinion... it is an excellent lathe and you will thoroughly enjoy it!

Thanks Steve,
It will be a lot of turning, but even more texture burning which can get boring real quick HAHA.

I can't wait to get my Robust. I love my Jet 1642 EVS, but it does not compare to the American Beauty. I am going to be talking to them in August at Turn on Chicago. Should have it around Christmas or so.

They certainly picked the right guy for this task! I have no doubt about the quality of the work you will do, Jeff. Congrats.

Thanks Bob and John. When I started turning 8 years ago, I could have never imagined that my work would take this direction.
