HD/ Eagle plate for AVMRA

I have been gone for a while, but it is good to be back. I have been pretty busy the last few months. I was asked to create a piece for the local American Veterans Motorcycle Riders Assoc. silent auction this past summer. As a veteran myself, I really appreciate the work these guys do. I designed the plate to look like a tattoo on the front with the eagle and HD logo. The plate is 12" hard maple. The image is burned and colored with acrylic pencils. The rim and back are airbrushed. I design the back so the stars fade into the POW/MIA logo. Finish is semi gloss lacquer. All comments and critiques welcome.

Thanks Hayes. To be honest, it was a bit of luck the way the grain turned out. I have found if I set up the plate stock with the cupped side as the front, the grain will (most of the time) line up with some part what I am burning.
