Here's another one in my series of "easy" boxes. I like this one the best with the BE maple and figured walnut. Came out pretty nice

Another nice one Mark. Does the lid pivot on pins somehow or does it "rest" in a slot when open?

The lid just rests in the back, the rear support is lower than the other 3, and the side supports are rounded off in the rear.

Cool box. I'm curious as to how you open it. I don't see any lip or pull on the top.

Ben: push down on the back of the lid, the front slides up, you grab the front and push it to the back and it fits in the slot. Very easy with a lot of room for error

Absolutely beautiful. It's not often you find birdseye that looks that niche and made it past the veneer machine. Very well done.
