Where to find left handed taps

I am wondering if any turning supplier carries left handed taps (3/4x10) that are meant for wood and hopefully cheaper then ones meant for metal. I am looking for a tap so I can do outboard turning on my lathe but the taps for metal in the size I need are about $60 which is way more then I want to pay. Or if I could just find a left handed bolt it the size I need maybe I could make my own tap out of it.
