A resounding YES on the first group!

A HUGE RESOUNDING YES on the last piece!!

John, these are superb pieces. Not sure about "small" as these are about the size of most of my stuff. I really hope we meet up again someday and I get a chance to see your work up close - again! You have really progressed, and I am happy for you. You have paid your dues and deserve the recognition you are getting.

The group shot is great. Each one of them is unique in its own way. The last one is different but every bit as nice!

Awesome pieces. I really like the Maple one. One question. How did you make it? Cut and glue after it was turned maybe?

John - these are all beauties! Wonderful forms and the colors all work well! I find the stark contrast of the Maple/Ebonized Walnut to be amazing and find the raised rings grab my attention! Excellent!!

"People sleep peaceably in their beds at night only because rough men stand ready to do violence on their behalf." +1 Great quote!

Thank you for all the kind comments. These were fun to do but very challenging. The Maple one took a couple of tries to get right, and combining the two woods on the Walnut and Oak piece took the difficulty to another level. I'm glad you all appreciate them.
