Made this last week while trying to come up with another "Ant Pool" style turning. A few punky locations were stabilized with thin CA. Has some chatter tearout on the upper inside edge on two sides. Tearout was so deep I was afraid the wall would be too thin. Filled in while wet sanding with lacquer(got to be quick;)).

Stats:
Material = Spalted Honey Locust Crotch
Diameter = 6-1/2"
Height = 2"
Finish = Three Coats of RC lacquer then buffed with wax.

That's a beautiful piece of wood, and a great little bowl.

JD, that is one nice looking piece of wood, and good job on the bowl, too. We HAVE to get rid of that piece of PVC stand, though! It detracts from an otherwise very nice bowl.
