I've been a hobbyist woodworker since about 2003. As such, I've spent a good deal of time searching for wood...lumber...on the cheap. To this point, I've had very little luck at all. Until yesterday! :)

My local Craigslist showed an ad for a load of cherry and walnut. He only lived a few miles from me, so I called and we met. A transaction was agreed upon, money changed hands, and I brought THIS home...

I did the math this morning. That's approximately 161 board feet of Pennsylvania cherry, and about 41 board feet of black walnut. I gave him $275.00
