I have a contact that saves wood for me. I will be the first admit that the trailer is WAY overloaded. It is all maple, a couple of the pieces are red, but all is ambrosia. I have seen better but not to shabby for free. He even loaded it for me. The unloading was a different story.

Nice friend! (though can't imagine dealing with pieces that size). I see some very large bowls in your future!

Cool haul, just curious if you are now shopping for a bigger chainsaw? Mine wouldn't come close to halfing those big guys.

Cut it up into blanks right on the trailer. I better invest in anchorseal stock.

That is a nice load of wood. So how did you get it that big one off?:)

Baxter, we left the truck hooked up to the trailer. Then hooked my mule (kawasaki) and pulled real hard...and fast.

Sweet! But I don't know that I would have wanted to unload that... Might have had to cut it up on the trailer!

I think I would have used a chain saw quite a bit before attempting to move it off the trailer. Still a lot of work though.

This thread is a definite gloat ! Major suckage is awarded. Hoot!

Be sure to post some roughed in bowls !
