Wedding gift bowl

Just finished this Sycamore bowl in time for show & tell at our club yesterday. It's 10" x 5" and finished with Danish Oil, shellac, then WOP and buffed. It's a wedding gift for the daughter of a family friend - a few months late but better now than never :D
Had some issues sanding out some tool marks, learned yesterday that I was probably riding the bevel too hard. Oh well, something else to remember next time!

Kelvin that is one pretty bowl. I like the slight lift at the foot to make it look like it is floating. I am sure it will be cherished.

Nice job, Kelvin. Looks like you are correct on the heel bruising. You might also try a double bevel and remove most of the primary bevel. Seems to reduce bruising quite a bit.
