I’m about to start finishing a cabinet project that has a few dozen pieces. Rather than having pieces scattered all over my already crowded shop I came up with this. I covered the tubing with Gorilla duct tape to prevent the galvanized EMT from staining the white oak, hopefully it’ll work.
It ain’t fine wood working but it should do the job. I designed it to come apart and live in the attic when not needed.

Nice drying rack! Send me a PM if you are interested in some additional ideas.

I like the sanding station in the background, too!

That would also be a nice place to let your boards "rest" after there initial jointing/planing. Perhaps one more leg can be added in the center for shorter material.

James, that's a good idea. I made it to accommodate the shortest piece on my cabinet, but who knows what is down the road?

Alan, I'm always interested in new ideas, why not post them here for all? The sander was a rare Craigslist find. I had to refurbish it but I've been very happy with it.
