I have been helping my father-in-law clean out his shop in preparation to downsize from his home.
Today after getting down to about the third layer on the back shelf I came across an original cardboard box
with 3 Disston Gold Medal 12 inch Mill Bastard files. The box is in perfect shape and the files are in the original
wrapper, never used.
I've been doing a little searching and can't find too much information on them. I'm guessing they are from
the 1950's.Since I already have more files that I will ever use, mostly thanks to him, I will probably just keep them
as collectibles. Anyone have any direction I can go to find more information. Most of the Disston sites I have come across
so far only mention saw files, of course.
