Large Cherry hf

Large Cherry hf with maple trim ring, Cherry collar and finial. 11x8 with 6 coats of gloss poly and buffed. Finish turned prior to going in the hospital and all the finishing was done after I got home. Needed a bit of shop stool time and this helped out.

Very nice Bill. The maple trim ring will really stand out when the cherry darkens. Maybe if you keep it you could take another picture after a year or so? You did a fine job on this one.

Holy cow!! First a couple of ehhhh's...opening may be a bit wide. Finial is hit or miss...I hate to see a good piece get a bash due to a finial...not enough pic's. Now the Ahhhh's...what a great size!! The form is perfect, chunk of wood is great for the form you picked and the finish...I could shave in that! Again... relieved you are back in the saddle...get busy cowboy!!
