I have a Dewalt DWP-611PK router.
I'd like to be able to use a 1/8" bit in this unit. It came w/ a 1/4" collet only.
I cannot find a collet that will do what I'd like.
Is there a bushing I can source locally that will adapt a 1/8" bit to 1/4"?
I've done some research and people mention a Rotozip "collet," but I think this is an actual collet for the Rotozip tool and maybe has more than a 1/4" O.D.? Hard to tell!
I see MLCS has split bushings here:
http://mlcswoodworking.com/orderstatus/html/smarthtml/pages/bushing_ball_bearings.html
But they get less than rave reviews on some of the sites.
If I can find something at a big-box store locally, that would be preferable, I guess. Shipping a $4 or $5 item doesn't seem practical.
Thanks!
Phil
