Kayak progress update

Well I have made a little progress on the kayak. The deck is attached to the hull and glassed. I have cut out the hatches and the cockpit ring is installed. I'm working on glass tapeing the inside of the joint between the deck and the hull. Hard to get up into the ends! after that it's on to installing the bulkheads and the ledges for the hatches to seal to.

Nice job. I would love to have seen how you did the cockpit coaming. Are the studs for adjustable foot pegs?

Conrad, Yes those are for the rails for the foot pegs. The cockpit coaming was 4 pieces. 2 spacers and 2 of the wider top pieces. I just used a random orbit sander to round the inside edge and hand sanded the outside edge. Did not take any pictures of that step though. Thanks!
